Honing machines are mostly semi-automatic, often with automatic measuring devices, but also can be incorporated into the automatic production line. In addition to the honing machine for machining holes, there are also cylindrical honing machines, bearing raceway honing machines, plane honing machines and surface honing machines for processing other surfaces.

Deep hole honing machine

    Honing head generally has two ways: 1. Constant pressure feed, 2. Quantitative feed. Constant pressure feed is usually realized by hydraulic pressure, but also by spring. Quantitative feeding is usually realized by servo motor, stepper motor or some other intermittent mechanism. Manual feeding mode can also be regarded as quantitative feeding. What you are talking about may belong to the hydraulic constant pressure feed, honing head can not shrink, it may be that the expansion and contraction cylinder does not act, try to raise the pressure of the hydraulic system.
