Machine Summary
*This machine is specially designed for deep hole processing of cylindrical workpiece.
*It can perform different processing, such as drilling, boring, expanding and roller burnishing, etc. Besides machining through-hole, it can also process step hole and blind hole.
*The machine tool is suitable for production of special cylinder, coal cylinder, hydraulic machinery, high pressure boiler tube, petroleum, military, electrics and airspace, etc.
Performance and Features
*The headstock spindle is driven by large power DC motor, using multi-gear speed change and stepless speed regulation. The process adopts the mode of workpiece rotating and tools feeding, the coolant is supplied by the oil feeder or through the end of boring bar, the chip is pushed out by the coolant pressure.
*The headstock part is equipped with three-jaw or four-jaw chuck, the oil feeder clamps the workpiece by servo motor. The oil feeder can be moved and positioned along the bed body, and maintaining the constant clamping force to the workpiece. The hydraulic system has a good control when clamping and fixing the workpiece, which has a high stability and good precision. The oil feeder adopts the principal axis structure which improves the load-capacity and rotation accuracy.
*The bed body is made of high strength cast iron, which ensures the machine with enough rigidity. The guide track is treated by hardening technology and has the excellent wear-resistance and high precision retaining ability. All the operation parameters are shown by meter display where is located at the side of the machine's middle part, the workpiece clamping and the operation is very safe, rapid and stable.
*DB-500 is equipped with workhead box, but isn't equipped with boring box or drilling box; DB-500A add to boring box or drilling box on the basis of the DB-500, so higher efficiency machining deep hole for cylindrical workpieces.

*Workpiece support and steady rest
The machine has workpiece rests and closed steady rest. They are used to clamp and position the workpiece with the good stability during process.
*Drilling(boring) bar rest
Three pieces of holder are equipped in standard configuration. The holder is in
Two half-tile structure up and down, which is easy for changing of the drilling
bar. It is used to support the bar, control moving direction of the drilling bar and
remove the vibration.
*Headstock For Clamping Workpiece
The box adopts high quality casting, with artificial aging treatment. The machine spindle head is short cone flange structure. The headstock spindle is treated by dynamic balancing, which keeps stable rotation and bearing accuracy. The headstock mainly offer powerful torque, which is used for workpiece rotation with 12steps speed. The spindle box adopts powerful oil lubrication. The spindle has the excellent rigidity, high strength, and good precision retaining ability. The chuck can choose 3-jaw chuck or 4-jaw chuck.
