The feed mode of honing head is mainly divided into quantitative feed and constant pressure feed. When honing with constant feed. The feed mechanism expands the feed at a constant speed, so that the abrasive grains cut into the workpiece compulsively. When the cutting force of the oilstone is reduced, the feed is greater than the actual grinding amount, and the honing pressure is increased, so that the abrasive particles fall off, break and the cutting effect is enhanced. During constant pressure feeding, because the workpiece surface is uneven, it is necessary to adjust the feed amount of honing head in real time to ensure that the workpiece bears constant grinding force.
