This refers to the position relationship between the axis line of the bit and the surface of the grinding wheel. Take 60 degrees, and this angle is generally more accurate. 3. Grinding back from the edge of deep hole drill bit

When the cutting edge touches the grinding wheel, it should be grinded backward from the main cutting edge, that is, the grinding wheel should be touched first from the cutting edge of the drill bit, and then grinded slowly down along the whole flank of the rear cutter. When deep hole drills are cut in, they can touch the grinding wheel lightly, grind a little bit first, observe the spark uniformity, adjust the pressure on hand in time, and pay attention to the cooling of the drills, so that they can not be grinded over-heat, causing discoloration of the edge and annealing of the edge. When it is found that the cutting edge temperature is high, the drill bit should be cooled in time.


4. The edge of deep hole drill should swing up and down, and the tail of the drill should not be warped.

This is a standard drill grinding action. The main cutting edge swings up and down on the grinding wheel, that is, the hand holding the front of the drill.
