And CNC deep-hole drill is the same, its application time is long, it will rust, so what preventive measures can avoid rust? Here are some tips to prevent deep-hole drill rust.
1. When dealing with vegetable oils and oils with rust-proof agents and rust-proof treatments, it is necessary to wipe the oils evenly and continuously, and not to show uneven layers, leaks and bubbles.
2. Regarding the location which is very easy to rust, it must be carefully cleaned up with cold water. If there is no rust, dirt or oil stain after inspection, the anti-rust treatment should be dealt with.
3. As long as the parts and components are put into storage, they must be cleaned up to prevent deep hole drilling from rusting. If the parts and components are rusted before, they can not be put into the warehouse, nor can they be assembled, in order to prevent other parts from rusting together with their utility.
4. In the whole process of using every spare part of NC lathe, the cutting oil should be selected to meet the standard to prevent rust, and in the process of deep processing, it should be carefully cleaned up to prevent rust.
5. For the parts of deep hole drill which have undergone heat treatment in salt furnace, the residual salt must be cleaned immediately.
