The deep hole drilling and boring machine is used to process deep holes with a hole diameter ratio (D / L) of more than 1:6, such as deep holes in barrel, barrel, machine tool spindle and other components. The deep hole drilling machine with workpiece rotating (or workpiece and cutter rotating at the same time) is similar to horizontal lathe. Deep hole drilling machine has universal, special and refitted by general lathe. In order to facilitate cooling and chip removal, the layout of deep hole drilling machine is horizontal, and the main parameter of deep hole drilling machine is the maximum drilling depth.
In order to meet the technological requirements of deep hole processing, the deep hole drilling and boring machine shall meet the following conditions:
1) Ensure the coaxiality of drill pipe support (on which there is drill pipe support sleeve), tool guide sleeve, headstock main shaft and drill pipe box main shaft.
2) Stepless adjustment of feed speed.
3) Enough pressure, flow and clean cutting fluid system.
4) It has safety control and indication devices, such as spindle load (torque) table, feed speed table, cutting fluid pressure gauge, cutting fluid flow control table, filter controller and cutting fluid temperature monitoring.
5) Tool guide system. Before drilling into the workpiece, the deep hole drill is guided by the cutter to ensure the accurate position of the cutter head, and the guide sleeve is close to the end face of the workpiece.
