1.1 Processing Capacity

1.2 Functions & Applications
- Precision machining of cylindrical deep-hole parts (e.g., hydraulic and air cylinders)
- Whole or local honing; local honing corrects taper, ellipticity, and partial diameter errors
- Honing head expansion/contraction controlled by servo motors, enabling constant-pressure and quantitative feed
- Constant-pressure feed: total feed pressure remains constant; unit pressure decreases as surface roughness improves, preventing sudden spindle load increases; achieves surface accuracy up to Ra0.2
- Quantitative feed: forced expansion at preset speed; produces self-sharpening effect, lower roughness, and corrects geometric errors
- Hybrid feed (constant-pressure + quantitative) improves honing accuracy and efficiency

1.3 Oil Supply
- External oil spray and internal oil feeding

1.4 Workpiece Clamping
- Workpiece placed on two V-shaped brackets and locked with pipe clamp chains
- V-shaped brackets manually adjustable for different diameters

1.5 Main Structure

1.5.1 Main Parts
- Machine bed, honing box, 2 workpiece carriers, honing bar support rests, rack and pinion, coolant system, SIEMENS PLC control system, electric cabinet (with air conditioning), etc.

1.5.2 CNC Axes
- Z1 axis: longitudinal feeding (honing head reciprocation); servo motor drives rack and pinion via reduction mechanism
- Z2 axis: controls honing head expansion; servo motor drives ejector pin axially via reduction mechanism

1.5.3 Machine Bed
- High-quality cast iron HT300, twice aged to relieve internal stress and stabilize structure
- Linear circular guide rail for high-speed honing head reciprocation
- Precision-processed, heat-treated rack mounted inside for stable feeding transmission
- Oil pans installed around the bed

1.5.4 Honing Box
- Drives honing head rotation with stepless speed
- Motor drives spindle via gear reducer; gears precisely ground, tooth surfaces high-frequency quenched to HRC48–52 for high strength, hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue limit
- Spindle supported by cylindrical roller bearings and thrust ball bearings for high accuracy and axial/radial load capacity
- Oil lubrication for gears and bearings

1.5.5 Workpiece Carrier (2 sets)
- V-shaped structure adjusted by positive/negative screws to move inclined edges toward center
- Workpiece manually locked with pipe chain after placement
- Anti-slip pads on V-shaped beveled edges prevent workpiece rotation during processing

1.5.6 Honing Bar Support Rest (2 sets)
- Supports honing bar during honing and measuring
- One set fixed on machine bed; the other moves on the circular linear guide rail

1.5.7 Coolant System
- Supplies lubricating liquid for honing head
- Mainly composed of pumps, paper filter, magnetic filter, oil tank, etc.
- Provides external oil spray and internal oil feeding, selectable on operation panel

1.5.8 Lubricating System
- Guide rail slider for honing box reciprocation automatically lubricated by automatic lubrication station with liquid level alarm
- Honing box filled with lubricating oil; gears and bearings lubricated by gear rotation

1.5.9 Control System
- SIEMENS PLC control
- Operation station assembled on machine bed; operation panel manually turnable for convenient operation
