Heavy duty drill collar machine for oil Industry

The machine has 2 functions : drilling and boring.

Drilling ：BTA drilling method，The chips flow to the rear end through the cutter tool inner hole.

Boring：Push boring method，the chips flow to the front end through the workpiece inner hole.

Machine structure:

• Machine mainly components: Machine bed、Headstock、2 sets workpiece bracket、oil pressure head、4 sets drill bar support、drill box、slide guide rail 、rack and pinion、drilling and boring cooling system、GSK CNC system、Electrical cabinet、3 sets center frame.

• Workpiece clamping:The manual three-jaw chuck on the headstock holds one end of the workpiece, the oil pressure head automatically tightens the other end of the workpiece, and the center frame supports the workpiece.

• Servo  axis：

        Z1 axis：The drill box is infeed vertically, and the servo motor drives the rack and pinion structure through the decelerating mechanism. 

        Z2 axis The oil pressure head is servo tightening the workpiece, and the servo motor drives the rack and pinion structure through the decelerating mechanism.

• Machine bed:The bed is made of resin sand and normalised after casting. The bed is made of split structure, assembled with high strength bolts and positioned by cone pin .The machine adopts double rectangular slide guide, precision grinding, quenching hardness can reach HRC48-52. Single guide rail width*thickness =205mm x 50mm, after widening and thickening,the overall width of the guide rail is increased to 690mm; the rack is assembled in the bed, used for tool feed transmission; and the rack is grind and quenched. The machine tool has large load capacity, high rigidity and stable transmission.
