Floor-type 3-axis CNC Deep Hole Drilling Machine
Workpieces are fixed on fixtures. The drill bit rotates at high speed driven by the drill box to perform cutting. Servo motors drive ball screws to push the drill box for feeding motion. High-pressure cooling oil is injected from the tool tail, flowing through the inner hole to the cutting area. Chips are flushed along the chip grooves to the guide frame and collected in the chip hopper. Filtered oil returns to the tank for recycling. Gun drilling delivers high-precision machining with accurate hole positioning, excellent straightness, concentricity and surface finish. It easily processes various deep holes including straight holes, blind holes, through holes and stepped holes.

1.2 Drilling Mode: Gun Drilling
Gun drill is an efficient deep-hole cutting tool, widely used for deep-hole machining of metallic and non-metallic materials.
Workpieces are mounted on fixtures. The drill bit spins at high speed driven by the drill box for cutting operation. Servo motors drive ball screws to feed the drill box. High-pressure cooling oil is injected from the tool tail, passing through the inner cavity to the cutting zone. Chips are flushed along chip grooves to the guide frame and collected into the chip hopper. The filtered cooling oil flows back to the oil tank for cyclic use.
Gun drilling ensures superior machining precision with accurate hole position, favorable straightness, concentricity and smooth surface finish.It is applicable to various deep holes, including straight holes, blind holes, through holes and stepped holes.

1.3 Machine Operation
Workpieces are fixed on the worktable. The tool shifts along X and Y axes to adjust drilling positions.Foot pedal, CNC control station and safety guardrail are mounted on the bed support platform. Operators control the machine while standing on the platform.
1.4 Workpiece Clamping
Place the workpiece on the V-shaped bracket of the worktable and fasten it manually with pressure plates.

1.6 X Axis
The column moves horizontally under CNC control with a travel of 500mm.Driven by servo motor, reducer and ball screw assembly.Telescopic stainless steel cover protects guide rails.Automatic lubrication station supplies lubrication for sliding surfaces.
The bed is resin sand cast and normalized. Equipped with linear ball guides.V-shaped diagonal ribs inside enhance structural rigidity and anti-deformation performance. Outer wall directly supports guides to bear heavy cutting force, reducing vibration and deformation for stable machining quality and efficiency.Built-in oil return grooves with oil baffles recycle cutting fluid back to the cooling tank automatically.
1.7 Y Axis
CNC-controlled vertical movement of the tool system.Adopts linear ball guides.Motion driven by servo motor, reducer and ball screw. Real-time position displayed on control panel.Counterweight block installed inside the column to balance the lifting tool unit.
1.8 Z Axis
CNC-controlled longitudinal feed, maximum drilling depth 500mm.Guide type: linear ball guideTransmission: servo motor + servo reducer + ball screw

1.9 Worktable
Used for workpiece mounting.Main components: T-slot worktable and V-shaped workpiece bracket.V-block position is adjustable to fit workpieces of varying lengths.
1.10 Drill Box
Drives tool rotation.The servo main motor drives the spindle via reduction gear. It facilitates tool replacement and motor protection with stepless speed regulation. Main motor power: 5.5kW, maximum spindle speed: 5000r/min.
The spindle is supported by two sets of high-precision angular contact ball bearings. The front end is fixed while the rear end allows free expansion to prevent damage caused by thermal elongation. Bearings are automatically lubricated by an automatic lubrication unit. Operators only need to replenish oil when low-level alarm triggers.
A rotary joint is fitted at the spindle rear to deliver high-pressure cutting fluid into the high-speed spindle for tool cooling.
1.11 Drill Rod Support
One set supplied to support the rod and enhance rigidity.
1.12 Guide Frame
Functions for tool guiding, chip removal and rod support.It moves axially under pneumatic control to clamp and release workpieces.Four sets of linear guide sliders ensure excellent linearity, rigidity and precision stability.Equipped with a guide sleeve at the front end. It guides the drill bit without pre-drilling pilot holes, simplifying procedures and cutting processing costs.
1.13 Cooling System
Supplies cutting fluid and removes chips.Consists of dirty oil tank, clean oil tank, circulating pump, paper band filter, high-pressure pump unit, liquid level controller and magnetic chip conveyor.Pressure, liquid level, temperature and flow rate of cutting fluid are digitally displayed on the control panel.Fuel supply adopts variable frequency pump. The variable frequency motor drives the high-pressure gear pump. Adjusting frequency changes rotating speed and fluid flow. The frequency control panel is integrated on the CNC station for easy operation and monitoring.
1.15 Castings
Basic components including bed, box, column and worktable are made of high-quality cast iron with stress relief aging treatment.
1.16 Electrical Control System
Adopts SIEMENS CNC system.X/Y/Z axes and spindle rotation are driven by servo motors. Major electric components are Schneider brand for reliable operation. The electric cabinet follows Rittal standard frame design with good sealing, ventilation and heat dissipation.
1.17 Lubrication
Automatic lubrication unit delivers timed and quantitative lubrication for sliding surfaces of X/Y/Z saddles and spindle bearings. Low oil level alarm is equipped.
