Deep hole drilling machine,it could be called BTA deep hole drilling machine as well, BTA is the chips discharged method. Some jobs are hollow tubes,they need to expand the hole,so it could be called deep hole boring machine,some jobs are big,solid and material is expensive,so the users needs to have the core instead of chips,so they can use deep hole trepanning process,so it could be called deep hole trepanning machine.

BTA deep hole drilling machine functions:

Solid drilling: by drill head,the deep hole drilling machine could drill from the size 30mm to 150mm(depends on different deep hole drilling machine models). It can drill all the metals,such as stainless steel,cast iron,normal steel,copper,Nickel and so on.

Counter boring:by counter boring head,the deep hole boring machine could bore hole from size 30mm to 800mm(depends on different deep hole machine models).

Pull boring:by pull boring head,the deep hole machine could do deep hole pull boring process as well. we have two structures of pull boring,one is normal BTA deep hole drilling and boring machine,it only has the pull boring function. Customer does not use this function often. The other structure is specially designed for deep hole pull boring purpose,this machine is much suitable for using pull boring process. The jobs of the end user are long tubes with thin wall,needs the pull boring process to make the hole straigtness and less hole deviation.

Burnishing: By burnishing head,the jobs that worked by deep hole drill machine could have better inner hole surface roughness,this tool will make surface harder and get the rounghness from Ra0.4-Ra0.8um.

Trepanning:By trepanning head,the deep hole drill machine will get core from the solid rod. When the materials is expensive,job is big diameter,customer will use this process to save energy(could use less electricity power to work) and can reuse the core of the big rod. so the deep hole drilling machine could be called deep hole trepanning machine as well. But if customer only use deep hole trepanning process,we have the deep hole trepanning machine model,which is a bit different structure with the traditional deep hole drilling machine.

Dezhou Guanlu deep hole drilling machine mainly structures and parameters:

Machine bed:

The machine bed is made of resin sand and normalised after casting. If the processing depth is more than 1meter, machine bed adopts split structure, assembled with high strength bolts and positioned by cone pin.

Adopt double rectangular sliding guide rail, precision grinding, quenching treatment,the hardness can be HRC48-HRC52 .

Single guide rail width x thickness=160mmX40mm; total width of guide rail is 600mm; The rack which is treated by grinding and quenching is mounted inside of machine bed ,used for cutting tool feeding drive. The machine has large bearing capacity, good rigidity and stable transmission.

Headstock

Used for driving the workpiece to rotate, fixed on the left end of machine bed; Manual three-gears, speed stepless within each gear; The main motor drives the spindle to rotate after deceleration of synchronous belt, synchronous pulley and gear system.

The gears are machined by precision grinding , gear surface is quenched by high frequency quenching, and the hardness of the tooth surface is HRC48-52, so that the gear can obtain high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance and high fatigue limit, and can withstand relatively large alternating load and shock load.

In order to improve the service life of gears and bearings, lubricating oil is used to circulate lubrication.

Oil pressure head

Used for guiding the cutting tool, supplying cutting oil and supporting the workpiece ; Servo motor drives its axial movement to adapt the workpiece with different length, and to tighten and loosen the workpiece .

Servo motor is used to drive the oil pressure head to tighten or loosen the workpiece, with high precision and rigidity;the whole oil pressure head adopts box structure, with high precision and rigidity.

Oil pressure head support sleeve: Adopt structure of packing match with guiding ring, with better oil sealing effect, avoid the bad phenomenon of drilling bar creeping and being locked.

The guide sleeve and oil pressure head support sleeve should be made according to

customer’s requirements; If the customer don’t have special requirements,(if the customer ordered) will make according to our standard .

Drill box

Used for supporting the drill bar ; A high rigidity integral structure is adopted, on which a support sleeve is assembled, which can absorb the shock and vibration produced during machining and so on .

The Hanging pulling mechanism is mounted on drill bar support rest ,after hole finished , the drill bar support rest will be pull back to the original position automatically .

Center Rest

Used for supporting the workpiece; Three-point closed type center rest structure, two rollers below, and one roller on the top; The lateral position of two rollers below is adjusted by screw.
