4. Machine tool structure description

4.1 Workpiece Clamping

The headstock and the front end of the spindle of the guide frame are equipped with a pneumatic chuck. The hydraulic system controls the axial movement of the headstock and automatically clamps, positions, and seals the workpiece.

4.2 Bed

The bed body is cast with resin sand, and normalized after casting.

A Roller linear guide rail is installed on the bed body for the movement of the Headstock and the drill box.

V-shaped inclined ribs are arranged inside the bed body, which have high support strength and are not easily deformed; The outer wall of the bed body directly supports the guide rail, which can withstand large cutting forces, has good rigidity, is not easily deformed or shaken during machining, and is conducive to improving the machining quality and efficiency of the machine tool.

An oil return groove is cast around the bed body, an oil retaining cover is installed on the oil return groove, and the cutting oil on the bed body automatically returns to the cooling oil tank.

4.3 Drill Box

Used to drive tool rotation and continuously adjust speed.

A rotary joint is installed at the end of the spindle for tool oil supply.

A spring chuck is installed at the front end of the spindle for clamping the cutting tool.

4.4 Tool Feed System

The servo motor drives the ball screw to realize the feed movement of the tool.

The nuts on the ball screw are double-nut structures and are lubricated at regular intervals using an automatic lubrication station.

Both ends of the lead screw are equipped with special bearings for the lead screw, adopting a bearing structure with one end fixed and one section stretched.

4.5 Drill bar holder

The Drill bar is supported by a support sleeve installed on the cutter bar bracket and a support sleeve installed on the right end of the guide frame to enhance the rigidity of the Drill bar.

The Drill bar holder is mounted on the linear guide rail slider and can automatically adjust the spacing with the movement of the drill bar box.

4.6 Headstock

The workpiece is driven to rotate by the headstock, and the rotation speed of the workpiece is fixed.

Ordinary motors drive the spindle of the headstock to rotate through gear reducers, synchronous belts, and synchronous belt pulleys.

A pneumatic chuck is installed at the front end of the spindle for clamping the workpiece.

A servo motor and a T-screw drive the bed headstock to move on the workpiece bed.

The moving guide is a ball linear guide.

4.7 Cooling System

Composition: chip conveyor, circulating pump, paper tape filter, oil cooler, pump set, liquid level sensor, flow sensor, pressure sensor, temperature sensor, fuel tank.

The above-ground fuel tank is fully welded with high-quality steel plates.

Various sensors are installed on the cooling system, and the liquid level, oil temperature, flow rate, and pressure are displayed on the instrument.

Pump unit: A set of variable frequency pumps that adjust the output flow rate of the pump by adjusting the motor speed, and a manual overflow valve at the oil outlet of the pump to adjust the output pressure of the pump.

Chip conveyor: Removes chips and allows cutting oil to leak into the dirty oil tank.

Circulation pump: Feeds the cutting oil in the dirty oil tank into the filter.

Paper belt filter: Removes impurities from the cutting oil coming from the dirty oil tank and has an automatic paper feeding function.

Oil cooler: To cool the cutting oil, it automatically starts and stops according to the set upper and lower limits of the oil temperature.

4.8 Control System

CNC System: Fanuc

Mainly used for controlling: tool rotation, tool feed, workpiece rotation, cooling system, lubrication system, hydraulic station.

The operator only needs to press the start button, and the machine tool will automatically complete the processing according to the program.

4.9 Lubrication System

The linear guide slider and lead screw nut used for moving the drill pipe box are lubricated regularly and quantitatively by an automatic lubrication station.

4.10 Machine Tool Protection

4.12 Guide frame

Fixed at the middle part of the bed body, used for tool guidance, chip removal and supporting the tool shaft.

The front end is equipped with a guide sleeve and a pneumatic chuck, wherein the guide sleeve is used for tool guidance, and the pneumatic chuck is used for workpiece clamping and positioning;
