Machine Overview
2.1 Machine Use
This equipment is a CNC deep hole drilling machine featuring high efficiency, high precision, and a high degree of automation. It employs the external chip-removal drilling method, specifically the gun drilling technique, for producing small-diameter holes. The continuous drilling capability can achieve machining accuracy and surface finish levels that would conventionally require separate drilling, reaming, and honing operations.

In the gun drilling process, cutting oil is supplied internally and chips are discharged externally. The oil flows through the rotating joint at the rear of the drill pipe spindle, then passes through the spindle bore and the tool bar's internal passage to reach the cutting edge. Afterwards, the cutting oil, together with the produced chips, exits through the V-shaped groove on the outer surface of the tool bar, enters the guide frame, and finally flows into the chip discharge unit.

2.2 Workpiece Clamping
At the front ends of the headstock spindle and the guide frame spindle, cone discs are installed. The hydraulic system controls the axial movement of the headstock spindle, enabling automatic clamping and positioning of the workpiece by utilizing the chamfers of the cone discs and the two end faces of the workpiece. When ordering the machine tool, the user must provide the chamfer dimensions at both workpiece ends as well as the overall workpiece dimensions.

2.3 Guide Rail
The machine tool is equipped with ball-type linear guide rails.

The control system employed is the GSK brand.
