Oil and gas drilling machine

This machine is suitable for drilling and boring cylindrical workpieces.When drilling , it adopt chips internal removal method (BTA method),it means the cutting oil supplied by oil pressure head ,through cutting area,remove the cutting chips from the inner hole of drill bar to the chips pot at back of machine bed ; It adopt push boring method, remove the chips from front or middle of the machine . The cutting oil is supplied from the rear of boring bar ,equipped with chips pots .

Machine brief and components :The machine is mainly composed of machine bed body, headstock,  oil pressure head,1 set of drill bar support, drill box, sliding guide rail, rack and pinion structure, drilling and boring cooling system, FANUC CNC control system, electric Cabinet, 1 set center frame ,automatic chip conveyor ,Oil Chiller etc.

Workpiece clamping

One end of the workpiece is clamping by the manual three-jaw chuck on the headstock;  and the oil pressure head automatically tightens the other end of the workpiece (the chamfer of the workpiece's outer circle is 5 x 30 degrees). The center frame is used for supporting the workpiece.

CNC system: FANUC CNC system

 Z1 axis: Longitudinal infeed motion of drill box, servo motor drives rack and pinion structure through deceleration reducer.

Z2 Axis: Oil pressure head servo tightens workpiece, servo motor drives rack and pinion structure throug d reducer.

The box body, machine bed body, bracket and other basic parts are made of high quality cast iron. After casting, they are aged twice to eliminate internal stress, stabilize structure and size, and improve mechanical properties.

Machine bed

The bed body is casting by resin sand and normalized after casting. The bed body with deep hole machining function more than 1 meter adopts separate structure, assembled with high strength bolts and positioned with taper pins.

The machine adopts double rectangular sliding guide rail, precision grinding, quenching HRC 48-52.The width and thickness of a single guide rail are 160 mm x 40 mm; the total width of the guide rail is 600 mm; the rack is assembled in the machine bed for cutter tool infeed transmission, and the rack is processed and quenched precisely. The machine has large load capacity, sufficient rigidity and stable transmission.

The inner of the machine bed is equipped with V-shaped oblique ribs,which have strong support strength and are not easy to deform. The outer wall of the machine bed directly connects the guide rail, which can bear large cutting force, has good rigidity and is not easy to deform and vibrating during the processing, and is conducive to improving the processing quality and efficiency of the machine.

Apron safety guard is assembled around the machine bed.
