It can be honed either as a whole or locally. During local honing, the taper, ellipticity and local hole diameter errors of the workpiece being processed can be corrected. The expansion and contraction of the honing head is controlled by a servo motor, which can not only achieve constant pressure feed of the honing head but also achieve quantitative feed of the honing head.
