1. Overview of Machine Tools

1.1 Processing Range

Maximum broaching strength: 6 tons

Maximum Workpiece Length: 1100 mm

Workpiece OD range: 15-75 mm

1.2 Single spindle structure, suitable for broaching process of coaxial holes on shaft parts,

1.3 Workpiece is fixed, cutter tool is rotating (X-axis), backward (Z-axis), X-axis and Z-axis linkage.

1.4 Workpiece clamping

Cone disc is assembled in the front end of the steady rest and hydraulic tailstock. The hydraulic system controls the axial movement of the hydraulic tailstock spindle. The workpiece is clamped and positioned automatically by the chamfer of the workpiece ends and cone disc.

1.5 The machine adopts rolling linear guide rail.

1.6 CNC System: GSK CNC system

1.7 Spindle box

The machine adopts AC servo motor to drive the spindle rotation through servo reducer,

synchronous belt and synchronous belt wheel. It can realize stepless speed regulation. The max speed of the spindle is 15r/min, Spindle driver is pre- positioned , which is beneficial to protecting the main motor and changing the tool conveniently.

Spring chucks are installed at the front end of the spindle for manual clamping of cutting tools. The chucks specification are ER40.

1.8 Hydraulic tailstock

It is used for clamping workpiece.

The right end of the tailstock spindle is equipped with a cone disc. The spindle can move axially under the control of the hydraulic system to tighten and loosen the workpiece. The spindle stroke is 30mm.

The tailstock is installed on the linear guide rail, which can move manually and axially on the guide rail to adapt to the clamping of workpieces of different lengths. The tailstock is manually locked on the machine table by using locking blocks.

1.9 Cutter Tool Infeed System

The machine adopts the structure of servo motor driving ball screw through servo reducer, and the tool feed can realize stepless speed regulation.

1.10 Steady rest

It is used for clamping workpiece.

The Steady rest is fixed on the machine bed body, and the cone disc is installed at the left end of

the steady rest.

1.11 Machine beds, T-slot worktable, box body and other basic parts are cast with resin sand and treated with two aging treatments. Bed return tank inclined design, will not store oil.
