1.2 General Description of the Machine
1.2.1 Machine Functions
Boring Operation:Cutting fluid is supplied to the cutting tool through the annular gap between the coolant feeder, tool bar and hole wall, flushing chips out via the pre-drilled bore of the workpiece. The tool travels towards the headstock during the entire machining process.
