Description
1.Machine Overview
Adopts three-spindle structure, enabling simultaneous machining of three workpieces.
BTA Drilling: Cutting oil is fed to the cutting tool through the gap between the oil feeder, drill rod and hole wall. The oil carries chips out via the inner bore of the drill rod. The workpiece and cutting tool rotate relative to each other.

2.1 Main Machine Structure
2.1.1 Main Machine Components
Bed, headstock, coolant feeder, drill rod support, drill box, cooling system, control system, electrical cabinet, workpiece brackets, etc.
2.1.2 Workpiece Clamping
One end of the workpiece is clamped by the manual three-jaw chuck mounted on the headstock, and the other end of the workpiece is automatically pressed against by the cone plate of the coolant feeder.

2.1.3 Machine Control System
Control System: SIEMENS 808D Axis Z: Longitudinal feed motion of the drill box. The servo motor drives the rack-and-pinion mechanism via a reduction unit. Main control functions: workpiece rotation, tool rotation, tool feed, cooling system, etc.
2.1.4 Basic Components
Boxes, bed, slide plates and other basic components are precision cast from high-quality cast iron. All castings undergo two times of aging treatment to eliminate internal stress, stabilize structure and dimensional accuracy, and improve mechanical properties.
2.1.5 Machine Bed
The bed is resin sand cast and subjected to normalizing treatment after casting. The bed adopts split structure, assembled with high-strength bolts and positioned by taper pins. The bed is equipped with double rectangular sliding guides finished by precision grinding with high hardness after surface quenching. Ball screws are installed inside the bed for transmission of tool feed and coolant feeder movement. A rack is mounted on the side of the tool bed for manual position adjustment of the drill rod support. V-shaped inclined ribs are arranged inside the bed to provide high support rigidity and resist deformation. The outer wall of the bed directly supports the guideways, which can withstand heavy cutting forces. The guideways feature excellent rigidity to avoid deformation and vibration during machining, helping improve machining quality and efficiency. Oil return grooves are cast around the bed with oil shields installed thereon. Cutting oil on the bed flows back to the cooling oil tank automatically.
2.1.6 Headstock
It drives workpiece rotation and is fixed at the left end of the bed. The main motor drives spindle rotation through belts and reduction gearbox with stepless speed regulation. A manual three-jaw chuck and oil sealing device are mounted on the front end of the headstock for workpiece clamping.
2.1.7 Coolant Feeder
Functions: tool guiding, coolant supply and support. The coolant feeder is driven axially by a hydraulic motor. Controlled by the hydraulic system, the spindle of the coolant feeder moves axially to clamp or release the workpiece. A drill rod supporting sleeve is fitted on the right side of the coolant feeder to support the drill rod. A guide sleeve and cone plate are installed on the left side. The cone plate positions the workpiece, and the guide sleeve guides the cutting tool.
2.1.8 Drill Box
It drives tool rotation and is mounted on the feed slide plate. A servo spindle motor drives spindle rotation via belts and pulleys with stepless speed regulation. A tool shank adapter is fitted on the left end of the spindle for tool clamping. A chip hopper is installed at the right end of the spindle for chip evacuation. The main motor is arranged in front to drive the spindle. The rear end of the motor is kept away from the tool shank adapter, preventing oil ingress into the motor to extend service life and facilitating tool replacement. A button panel is mounted on the box, featuring spindle jog, forward movement, backward movement and emergency stop functions. Three drill boxes are installed on one feed slide plate, and each spindle is driven by an independent servo main motor.
2.1.9 Drill Rod Support
Used for supporting the drill rod. It adopts a highly rigid integrated structure equipped with supporting sleeves to absorb impact and vibration generated during machining. An automatic pulling mechanism is installed. During tool retraction, the feed slide plate can automatically pull the drill rod support back to its initial position. In addition, manual adjustment gears are fitted on the support to manually adjust its position on the machine bed.
2.1.10 Cooling System
It mainly consists of cooling pump, chip conveyor, oil chiller, filter unit and oil tank, supplying sufficient cutting oil for deep hole machining. Floor-mounted oil tank fully welded with high-quality steel plates. Chip conveyor: removes chips and realizes preliminary separation of chips and oil. Oil chiller: maintains oil temperature within a reasonable range. It starts automatically when oil temperature exceeds the upper set limit and stops automatically when oil temperature drops below the lower set limit. Filter unit: adopts paper tape filtration with automatic paper feeding function to enhance the cleanliness of cutting oil. Digital displays on the operator station show pressure, liquid level, temperature and flow rate of cutting oil.

2.1.11 Feed Slide Plate
It is used to drive the axial movement of the cutting tool. An automatic lubrication station provides timed and quantitative lubrication for the sliding guide surfaces. A button panel is mounted on the slide plate, which is equipped with functions including jog operation of drill box spindle, feed forward, feed backward and emergency stop.
2.1.12 Lubrication System
The sliding guide surfaces of the feed slide plate are lubricated by an automatic lubrication station with timed and quantitative oil supply, featuring low oil level alarm. Bearings of the headstock are lubricated by an automatic lubrication station with timed and quantitative oil supply, featuring low oil level alarm. Bearings of the drill boxes are lubricated by an automatic lubrication station with timed and quantitative oil supply, featuring low oil level alarm. The slide of drill rod support is lubricated via a manual lubrication pump.
2.1.13 Workpiece Bracket
It serves for pre-positioning of workpieces. The operator places the workpiece on the workpiece bracket first. Once the workpiece is clamped and positioned, it will separate from the bracket.
