1. Machine Brief :

1.1 Machine functions and application:

It can hone same workpiece from both sides ,can also hone two workpieces separately.

The workpiece is placed in middle , the honing tool systems are located at both ends.

Two workpieces with max. 8000mm depth can be installed on the machine .

The expansion and contraction of honing head is controlled by servo motor, both constant pressure feeding and quantitative feeding could be realized .

1.2 Oil supply mode for honing head :  Internal and External oil supply two modes. 

1.3 Workpiece clamping :

The workpiece is installed on the V-shaped surface of the workpiece carrier, locked with a pipe chain, and the machine is equipped with multiple sets of workpiece carriers.

1.4 Machine main structure:

1.4.1 Main parts of the Deep hole honing machine

Machine bed, Honing box, Workpiece carrier, Honing bar support rest, Rack and pinion, Coolant system,DELTA PLC system, Electric cabinet , Oil-proof device and so on .

1.4.2 CNC axis of the deep hole honing machine :

Z1 axis: The longitudinal feeding movement of the honing box (honing head reciprocating movement), the servo motor drives the rack and pinion mechanism through the reducing mechanism.

Z2 axis: Control the expansion and contraction of honing head, the servo motor drives the ejector pin to move axially through reducing mechanism .

1.4.3 Machine bed :

Cast by super casting iron HT300, with twice time aging treatments to eliminate the internal stress , the structure and size are stabilized, and the mechanical properties are improved.

The ball linear guide rail is mounted on the tooling bed and tooling bed,used for reciprocating movement of honing head, to meet the requirements of high speed during honing.

The inner side of machine bed is mounted with rack, use for the feeding transmission of honing head. The transmission of rack is stable after precision processing and heat treatment .

The machine bed adopt split structure,assembled together with high-strength bolts and positioned with taper pins.

The oil-returning groove is cast around the bed, and the oil receiving plate is installed around the oil-returning groove to collect the honing oil and let it flow back to the oil tank automatically .

1.5.4 Honing box of the Deep hole honing machine:

The honing box of deep hole honing machine is used to drive the honing head to rotate, rotation speed is stepless .

The honing head expansion and contraction servo control system is installed inside the honing box.

1.4.6 Honing bar support rest of Deep hole honing machine

Supporting honing bar in the process of honing and measuring.

One set is fixed on the machine bed, others are dragged by the honing box to move on the linear guide rail of machine bed .

1.4.7 Coolant system of Deep hole honing machine

Supply the honing oil for honing head .

Mainly composed of pumps, paper filter, magnetic filer,oil tank etc. .

Provide external oil spray and internal oil feeding two oil supply methods for the honing head,which could be chosen on the operation panel .

1.4.9 Control system :

DELTA PLC Control System.

Using human-machine interface touch screen, reciprocating speed, rotating speed and honing head feeding rate etc. can be set on it .
