                                                     Gun Drilling Machine – Brief Introduction

The machine adopts a one / two / four-spindle structure, allowing simultaneous machining of four workpieces, and is especially suitable for coaxial deep hole drilling of shaft-type parts.

Gun drilling is performed with internal coolant supply and external chip evacuation, ensuring stable machining and reliable chip removal.

During machining, the tool and workpiece rotate relatively, while the tool feeds axially to achieve high accuracy.

The workpieces are automatically clamped and positioned by a hydraulic system using tapered plates at both ends, ensuring good coaxiality and stable clamping.

The machine is equipped with linear guideways, providing smooth movement and high positioning accuracy.

FANUC CNC system is adopted for stable and reliable operation.

The drilling spindle unit is driven by a servo motor via synchronous belts, enabling stepless speed regulation, with a maximum spindle speed of 5000 rpm. One motor drives two spindles in the four-spindle configuration.

The headstock is specially designed to drive the workpiece at a constant speed of 300 rpm and can move axially under hydraulic control for clamping and releasing the workpiece.

The tool feed system adopts a servo motor and ball screw structure, allowing flexible and precise feed control.

A high-pressure coolant system, including pumps, filtration and a chip conveyor, is provided to ensure efficient cooling and chip removal.

The machine bed and main structural components are made of resin sand castings with aging treatment, and the machine is designed with full enclosure protection for safe operation.
