Description
Machine Overall Introduction
TMK2130×2m is multi‑functional composite deep‑hole machine, integrating BTA drilling, push boring, pull boring and honing in one unit. The whole machine is divided into three independent functional sections: honing section, workpiece clamping section, drilling‑boring section. It supports workpiece rotating or static status during cutting; honing adopts constant‑pressure mode or constant‑displacement mode, capable of full‑length honing or local honing for correcting taper, ovality and local aperture deviation.
Processing capacity: drilling Φ40‑Φ100mm, boring & honing Φ50‑Φ300mm, maximum processing depth 2000mm, workpiece length range 1000‑2000mm, workpiece outer diameter Φ100‑Φ450mm, maximum machine load 3 tons. All main cast components adopt HT300 high‑strength cast iron with resin‑sand casting, and go through two complete aging treatments to eliminate internal casting and machining stress, ensuring long‑term rigidity and stable precision under continuous heavy‑load batch production.
1. Honing Section
The honing section consists of honing spindle box, honing bar supports, special cooling‑circulation system and PLC control unit.
X‑axis: servo‑driven reciprocating longitudinal feed for honing spindle box, driven by rack‑pinion & reducer structure, feed speed adjustable 1‑18m/min.
Z‑axis: servo‑controlled expansion & contraction of honing head, realizing constant‑pressure / constant‑displacement honing mode.
Machine bed adopts ball linear guide rails to meet high‑speed reciprocating movement of honing tools. High‑precision heat‑treated rack is installed inside for stable transmission. Oil‑receiving trough is cast around bed frame.
Honing spindle box: servo spindle motor drives spindle via precision ground high‑frequency quenched gear reducer; spindle is supported by combined cylindrical roller + thrust ball bearings to resist large axial & radial cutting force, with independent circulating oil lubrication system.
Honing bar supports: one fixed support rest + one movable support rest; movable rest follows honing spindle box via chain linkage to absorb tool vibration.
Honing cooling system: equipped with independent honing oil tank set, paper‑tape filter and magnetic roller filter, filtration accuracy 20μm. Pressure, flow, liquid level and temperature are digitally displayed on operation station.
Control unit: Delta PLC controls honing reciprocating speed, spindle rotation speed, tool expansion feed and cooling system. Rotatable operation panel is mounted on machine bed for convenient observation and parameter adjustment. Automatic lubrication station with low‑level alarm is configured for guide rails and racks.
2. Workpiece Section

This section undertakes workpiece clamping and rotation drive, including through‑type headstock and closed three‑point steady rests.
Bed body: resin‑sand cast, normalized after casting. Double rectangular quenched hard guide rails (single rail:160×40mm, total width 600mm). Internal quenched helical rack for fixture axial movement, high bearing capacity and stable transmission.
Through‑type headstock: equipped with four‑jaw chucks at both spindle ends, workpiece passes through spindle bore and is clamped by double‑end chucks. Servo spindle motor drives spindle via gear reduction, two hydraulic shift gears with stepless speed inside each gear, spindle through‑hole Φ500mm.
Closed three‑point steady rest: standard multiple sets. Two lower rollers + one top roller structure, each roller position manually adjusted by lead screw; the whole rest slides along bed guide rail, for stable support of long heavy tubular blanks and suppressing cutting vibration.
3. Drilling & Boring Section

Complete for BTA drilling, push boring and pull‑boring processing. Main components include bed frame, servo oil‑pressure head, drill box, drill‑bar support rest and dedicated drilling‑boring cooling circulation system.
Bed body: split assembled heavy cast bed connected by high‑strength bolts and taper pin positioning. Double rectangular quenched hard guide rails, internal V‑shaped reinforced ribs for high anti‑deformation performance. Oil‑return groove and oil shield around bed for coolant recycling.
Oil‑pressure head: driven by independent X‑axis servo motor, supports torque‑mode or position‑mode axial movement to tighten / release workpieces. Equipped with replaceable cone disc and guide sleeve for tool guidance; built‑in high‑performance rotary seal and drill‑bar supporting sleeve.

Drill box: installed on feeding carriage, manual 3‑gear shift with inner‑gear stepless speed regulation, driven by 37 kW servo spindle motor. Spindle front‑end tool‑shank connecting sleeve for quick drill‑bar replacement; rear‑side chip‑removal hopper for chip discharge. Gears are precision ground and high‑frequency quenched, with independent external circulating lubrication tank and low‑liquid‑level alarm.

Drill‑bar support rest: high‑rigidity integrated structure with supporting sleeve, absorbing impact and vibration during deep hole cutting.
Z‑axis feed carriage: servo motor drives rack‑pinion transmission for longitudinal feed of drill box, feed speed range 5‑1000mm/min, max rapid speed 2000mm/min, maximum feed thrust 60KN. Automatic timing quantitative lubrication for sliding surfaces with low‑level alarm.
Drilling‑boring cooling system: large‑volume ground‑mount welded oil tank, max pressure 2.5 MPa, max flow 400L/min. Sensors for pressure, flow, liquid level and temperature are centrally displayed on operation panel.
4. Control System
Drilling & boring processes: controlled by original SIEMENS‑828D CNC system, full set SIEMENS servo drives & motors.
Honing process: independent Delta PLC control. Separate cutting oil for drilling‑boring and special honing oil for honing process. Multiple safety interlock protections are integrated: lubrication shortage alarm, coolant pressure & liquid‑level protection, spindle & feed motor overload protection, pump fault alarm, travel limit protection. Two independent air‑conditioned electric cabinets are configured for honing and drilling‑boring sections.
