The machine has different functions , just need to replace the different cutting tools .
Solid drilling: To drill a hole on the solid bar with the BTA drill head .
Trepanning hole : To make a hole on the solid bar by trepanning head,meanwhile a solid core can be achieved . (If the workpiece material is very expensive, normally choose this method) .
Rough boring : To expand the hole of a tube by the rough boring head . (Ra6.3-Ra12.5)
Fine boring : To improve the surface roughness of inner hole by fine boring head . (Ra3.2-Ra6.3)
Burnishing : To improve the surface roughness of inner hole by burnishing head. (Ra0.2-Ra0.8)

2. Machine application and general layout :
This machine is specially used for processing the cylindrical workpiece with deep hole , the machine
bed is with good rigidity and accuracy retention . The machine is equipped with two sets of adjustable roller center rest and V-shaped workpiece carrier, so it is suitable for processing the inner hole of large workpiece as well. The spindle has wide rotary speed range, feeding system is driven by AC servo motor , so the machine could meet the requirements for various deep hole processing methods . The oil pressure head clamping and workpiece tightening adopt servo tightening method .
2.1 Machine bed :

The bed body is cast with resin sand and normalized after casting. The bed body adopts split structure, which is assembled together with high-strength bolts and positioned with taper pins.
Double rectangular sliding guide rail is adopted, with precision grinding and high quenching hardness of guide rail surface.
Width of single guide rail × Thickness = 180mm × 50mm, total width of guide rail 800mm;; The straight rack (module 6) is assembled in the bed for tool feed transmission. The rack is precision machined and quenched. The surface of the guide rail is treated by medium frequency quenching, the quenching depth is 2-3mm, the quenching hardness is HRC45-50, the guiding precision is high, and the wear resistance is good; the precision rack is installed in the middle of the bed guide rail, which is used for feeding and rapid movement of the carriage.The machine has large bearing capacity, sufficient rigidity and stable transmission.
V-shaped inclined reinforcement is arranged inside the bed, which has high support strength and is
not easy to deform; The outer wall of the bed body directly supports the guide rail, which can bear large
cutting force. The rigidity of the guide rail is good, and it is not easy to deform and shake in the processing
process, which is conducive to improving the processing quality and efficiency of the machine Apron protection is installed around the bed

2.2 Headsotck and chuck :
It is used to drive the workpiece to rotate. It is fixed at the left end of the bed body. It is in manual gear 3 and stepless speed regulation within the gear. The 45KW variable frequency motor is used to drive the spindle to rotate through the coupling and gearbox. The front end of the headstock is equipped with a manual three jaw chuck for clamping the workpiece.
The gear is made by precision grinding; The gear tooth surface is subject to high-frequency quenching treatment, and the tooth surface hardness is HRC48-52. In this way, the gear can obtain high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance and high fatigue limit, and can withstand relatively large alternating load and impact load.
In order to improve the service life of gears and bearings, lubricating oil circulation lubrication is adopted.

2.3 Drill box :
The drill box has 21 level speed regulation, with speed regulation range of 60-1000r/min; the drill box body is made of high-quality casting iron and treated with time aging; all gears are made of high-quality medium carbon steel or low-carbon alloy steel, with quenching hardness of about HRC48. Gear grinding process improves the working accuracy and wear resistance
The drill box has fix and rotation two working mode , if don't need the drill box to rotate, it could be locked .

2.4 Oil pressure head :
Function of oil pressure head : 1) Supply coolant liquid to workpiece and sealing oil ; 2) The guide sleeve is installed on it to guide the direction of cutting tool; 3) Support the drill bar , the coolant flow and pressure gauge are installed in front of oil pressure head, so the operator could check the oil flow and
pressure on it , to judge the machining condition of the machine .
Servo motor is used to drive the oil receiver to tighten or loosen the workpiece, with high precision and high rigidity; The oil feeder adopts box structure as a whole, with high precision and high rigidity

2.5 Cutting liquid supply system :
Mainly composed of the Oil tank , pump station, oil pipe, chips cart and oil returning slot . 3sets gear pump groups , 200L/min , 500L/min, 800L/min three flow are optional according to hole diameter by knob on the button station . The oil tank is placed on the ground , no need to dig a pit .

2.6 Feeding system :
Driven by servo motor, speed change through gearbox , then driven the carriage by rack and pinion, to realize the rapid feeding and working feeding .The feeding speed is stepless , speed range is 5~500 mm/min, rapid moving speed is 1500 mm/min.
2.7 Boring bar support rest :
3sets , support the boring bar , control the moving direction of boring bar. Equipped with locking nylon sleeve to absorb the vibration of boring bar .

2.8 Electric control system :
Main electric components adopt SCHNEIDER brand, more reliable and stable , it greatly reduces the failure rate and increases the stability of machine .


2.9 Chips removal bucket :
Recover the cutting chips and cutting liquid, avoid the cutting liquid splashing .
When drilling, adopt internal chips removal method(BTA) , the cutting oil goes inside from the oil pressure head, reach the cutting area through the space between outer of drill bar and the machined workpiece surface, remove the cutting chips backward through inner hole of drill bar (drill box direction),go into the rear chips removal pipe, finally flow to the chips cart .
When boring,adopt external chips removal method, the cutting oil is supplied from oil pressure head , reach the cutting area from space between boring bar and finished workpiece inner surface , remove the cutting chips forward(headstock direction), go into the front chips bucket, then flow into the chips cart .
3.0 Closed-type center rest :
The machine is equipped with two sets closed-type center rest , main function is to support the workpiece . The closed-type center rest is auxiliary device for workpiece clamping, it can not only used when drilling the long and thin rod, but also for processing long workpiece with big diameter.

2.10 Machine lubrication :
The feeding carriage of the machine is equipped with intermittent lubrication system and has automatic alarm function of low oil consumption. On the basis of saving oil to the greatest extent, the carriage and feeding rack can get sufficient lubrication. The headstock has its own lubrication device. Oil pressure head and drill bar support rest are manually lubricated.

Hole size accuracy: IT8~IT9
