1. Machine Brief :
1.1 Machine processing capacity:
Hole diameter range :Φ20~Φ50mm
Max. Honing depth: 3000mm
Max. Workpiece length : 3000mm
1.2 Machine functions and application:
The machine is used for precision processing of various cylindrical workpieces with deep
hole .
It can do either integral honing or local honing ; When honing locally, the errors of taper, ellipse and local hole diameter error can be corrected.
The expansion and contraction of honing head is controlled by servo motor, both constant pressure feeding and quantitative feeding could be realized .
The workpiece is placed on two sets V-shaped workpiece carriers, pressed by the pressing plate.
1.5 Machine main structure:
1.5.1 Machine main parts
Machine bed, Honing box, 2set workpiece carriers, Honing bar support rest, Rack and pinion, Coolant system,Delta PLC control system, Electric cabinet and so on .
1.5.2 CNC axis :
Z1 axis: The longitudinal feeding movement of the honing box (honing head reciprocating movement), the servo motor drives the rack and pinion mechanism through the reducing mechanism.
Z2 axis: Control the expansion and contraction of honing head, the servo motor drives the ejector pin to move axially through reducing mechanism .
1.5.3 Machine bed :
1.3 Oil supply mode for honing head : External oil spray , Internal oil supply.
1.4 Workpiece clamping :

Cast by super casting iron HT300, after twice aging treatments, the internal stress is eliminated, the structure and size are stabilized, and the mechanical properties are improved.
The rolling linear guide rail (as shown below) is mounted on the machine bed , used for reciprocating movement of honing head, to meet the requirements of high speed during honing.
The inner side of machine bed is mounted with rack, use for the feeding transmission of honing head. The transmission of rack is stable after precision processing and heat
treatment .
The oil-receiving tray is mounted around the machine .

1.5.4 Honing box:

Used to drive the honing head to rotate, rotation speed stepless .
The servo spindle motor drives the spindle to rotate through the gear reducer, and the gears is ground precisely. The tooth surface of the gears is treated by high frequency quenching, and the hardness of the tooth surface is HRC48-52. In this way, the gear can obtain high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance and high fatigue limit, and can withstand large alternating load and impact load.
The spindle is supported by a combination of cylindrical roller bearings and thrust ball bearings. The spindle has high accuracy and can withstand large axial and radial forces.
In order to improve the service life of gears and bearings, lubricating oil is used.
1.5.5 Workpiece carrier:

2sets, used to support the workpiece .
V-shaped structure, to clamp the workpieces with different diameter by replacing the pads with different thickness.
1.5.6 Honing bar support rest

Supporting honing bar in the process of honing and measuring.
3 sets, 1set is fixed on the machine bed, another 2sets move on the square linear guide
rail of machine bed .
1.5.7 Coolant system
Supply the lubricating liquid for honing head .
Mainly composed of pumps, paper filter, magnetic filer,oil tank etc. .
Could provide external and internal two oil supply method for the honing head, it can be exchanged on the operation panel .
1.5.8 Lubricating system
The sliders of guide rail for reciprocating movement of honing box and rack are lubricated automatically through automatic lubrication station, and liquid level alarm is provided on lubrication station.
The honing box is filled with lubricating oil ,the gears and bearings inside are lubricated by the rotation of the gears.
1.5.9 Control system :
PLC control .
The operation station is assembled on the machine bed,the operation panel can be
turned manually to facilitate the operation of the machine.
Using human-machine interface touch screen, reciprocating speed, rotating speed and honing head feeding rate etc. can be set on it .

8.5 Required conditions for installation site:
Should avoid being affected by external vibrations; Should avoid being affected by corrosive gases or liquids; Avoid direct sunlight on the surface of the machine ; Keep away from direct strong cold or hot air sources; Efforts should be made to minimize dust pollution (such as metal dust, sand, etc.).
1. Machine installation and debugging conditions (prepared by the user)
9.1 Incoming power supply: three-phase five wire power supply, 380V±5%, 50Hz±1Hz, user provides the cable from the workshop power supply to the electrical cabinet
9.2 Cleaning oil and utensils: Provide 20 liters of gasoline or kerosene, and some cotton
cloth
9.3 Cutting oil: Deep hole extreme pressure cutting oil, kinematic viscosity 40℃: 2.6mm²/s, extreme pressure agent content≥15%, flash point℃≥ 110.
9.4 The user prepares lifting equipment and tools for lifting
